Another day, another wiring diagram. Today we're looking at dual colour LED Strip Lights and how to wire them. As you can see, it's pretty similar to wiring our RGB colour LED Strip Lights, but with a few differences.

Shop for Dual Colour  LED Strip Lights

You will need:

- Dual Colour LED Strip Light

- Dual Colour Touch Controller

- LED Driver

- Screwdriver

Step 1. Before you start, check that everything is in tip top condition and there are no signs of physical damage. We do check everything before it leaves our warehouse and package them as carefully as possible, but on rare occasions things will get damaged in transit. Let us know straight away if anything is damaged and we will arrange for a replacement.

Step 2. On your Dual Colour LED Strip Light you will have three wires, a black, red and blue. These need to connect into the output terminals on the Dual Colour Controller. The black should match with the V+, the red with the "W" and the blue with one of the "C" channels. You don't need to connect anything to the second "C" channel.

Step 3. Wire the positive (red) and negative (black) wires on the LED Driver into the DC+ and DC- terminals on the input side of the controller.

Step 4. Wire the live and neutral wires on the LED Driver back to the mains power supply. Make sure the mains supply is disconnected before doing this. We always recommend getting an electrician to do this bit, as mains electrical work is potentially dangerous.

Step 5. Reconnect the mains supply. You should see the green power light on the controller come on. Put your batteries in the remote. Touching the buttons on your controller should make the receiver light come on. If this doesn't happen, make sure the batteries are inserted correctly.

Now you're ready to use your Dual Colour LED Strip Lights.
